Carpinteria Valley Chamber
of Commerce

Founded in 1912 the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce’s business is the community. The Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate organization for area businesses at the local, county, state and federal levels. The Chamber is the only business organization in the Carpinteria Valley, and we assist in creating a partnership with the community.

The Benefits of Membership in the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce are multifaceted. We offer many value-added programs and services that guarantee better business opportunities for our members and we can for you too.

Carpinteria Ave/Casitas Pass Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project

The City of Carpinteria Department of Public Works has hired a contractor to repave portions of Carpinteria Avenue and Casitas Pass Road. The limits of work will be along Carpinteria Avenue from Linden Avenue to the Carpinteria Creek Bridge and along Casitas Pass Road from Carpinteria Avenue to the US-101 Bridge.
During construction, nearby residents and businesses can expect the following:
 Grinding the entire width of Carpinteria Avenue and Casitas Pass Road. The road will likely remain rough for 3 weeks or more while it is prepped for resurfacing.
 New roadway resurfacing and paving.
 Final manhole and underground utility vault adjustments to match the new roadway surface.
With the exception of brief temporary closures, the work is planned to allow all driveways and business entrances to remain open during construction. Work is expected to begin November 17th and end December 19th. In an effort to minimize construction time, work hours may take place during both night and daytime hours. If any time during construction you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Public Works at 805-684-5405 x441.
