Carpinteria celebrates First Friday, co-sponsored by "DEEP Magazine," June 7, 5-8pm. The Carpinteria Valley Arts Council on Linden Ave. will feature live music, a beer garden, crafts & toe tapping fun. A surfboard display & kayak information are planned @ Seal Fountain. The SB area Food Bank is asking businesses to use their lunch hour to help distribute food to local children from June through August, 11 am to 1 pm, Monday-Friday, in Carpinteria.
