The Voice of Local Business

The Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce (CVCC) has made a firm commitment to local business community members. The commitment extends beyond the usual services offered by most chambers. The CVCC has taken on the leadership role of providing a sound and consistent voice to influence local, county, state and federal legislative policy.

By providing members with a governmental affairs liaison, who works with the Chamber through a Business Advocacy Roundtable (BAR) committee, the CVCC has provided a strong regional influence. This influence, lead by the Government Relations Director, works in concert with elected and appointed officials, so that the business community is considered when issues are brought up for action by government agencies and policy-making organizations.

A strong business community depends on an environment that is supportive of small and large companies. In turn, viable local businesses play an important part in the success of local schools and provide a positive economic outlook for future generations.
