Joyce Donaldson, IOM
President / Chief Executive Officer
With over 12 years of professional chamber leadership experience, Donaldson has a proven history of enhancing operations, bolstering financial stability, increasing visibility, and strengthening community and government relations. Donaldson served as Executive Director of the Romeo- Washington Chamber of Commerce in Romeo, Michigan for seven years and most recently for five years as President and CEO of the Indio Chamber of Commerce in Indio, California.
Donaldson holds an Associate Degree of Applied Science and has consistently continued her education, keeping abreast of current chamber trends and best practices. She is a 2013 graduate of the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organization Management (IOM) and 2012 graduate of the California Western Association of Chamber Executives Academy (W.A.C.E.). Donaldson is also a graduate of Leadership Coachella Valley, CA and Leadership Macomb, MI.
Prior to resigning to travel and study abroad in 2014, she achieved Four Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in 2013, placing the Indio Chamber in the top three percent nationwide.
Donaldson has two sons, Bryan and Zachary, both in the entertainment industry. Bryan and his bride reside in Los Angeles, and Zachary and his fiance live in San Francisco. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, tennis, puppy-sitting, and stargazing.

Communications & Events Coordinator
With years of experience in advertising design and graphic arts, Karen has been with the Chamber for the past 16 years as an in-house graphic designer producing the Chamber newsletter, event invitations, programs, forms, logos, and ads, as well as many other related collateral pieces.
Gebhart holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising Design from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Gebhart is married to husband Andres and resides in Carpinteria. They have one son, Tristan, a civil engineer, currently working on his master degree in Geo Tech Engineering at Cal Poly. Tristan and his new wife reside in San Luis Obispo. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, antiques, crystal healing, and collecting dragon flies.
