Back by delicious demand, the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Culinary Crawl…a Taste of Carpinteria will be held on Saturday afternoon, September 14th in downtown Carpinteria.
New twists and turns this year begin with Opening Festivities on Saturday at 2PM including a Welcome Prosecco Toast at the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center. The Rail Alley will be conveniently set up in downtown where Culinary Crawlers can meet the chefs while sampling their Tasty Tapas,
Wearing embossed Keepsake Aprons, 300 patrons will hit the pavement in downtown. What a festive sight this will be…creating a fun and energetic buzz in Carpinteria! The Culinary Crawl…a Taste of Carpinteria will serve as an economic stimulator to our local economy, providing a fun-filled dining experience while increasing visibility and multiplying sales. “We are thrilled to once again bring this exclusive business friendly event to Carpinteria, designed to boost our restaurant’s customer base & multiply sales by increasing their visibility with new customers, loyal patrons, and playful tourists” says Joyce Donaldson, President and CEO of the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Culinary Crawlers will enjoy culinary delights from local eateries including Nutbelly Pizzeria, Phoevermore, Reynaldo’s Bakery, Rincon Brewery, Rori's Artisanal Creamery, Siam Elephant, The Food Liaison, Uncle Chen Restaurant, and more.
The After Party at the Carpinteria Arts Center will feature Arts, Eats, and Beats where guests will enjoy music and dancing in the Art Center’s contemporary new courtyard while sipping and sampling an array of delicious desserts and small bites from Chocolats du CaliBressan, Delgado’s Mexican Restaurant, Jack’s Bistro & Famous Bagels, McDonalds, Rincon Coffee Roasting Company, and Teeccino Café. Refreshing spirits will be available from Carpinteria Wine Company and Island Brewing Co.
Traffic Solutions at SBCAG is offering free round-trip train passes for registrants of the Culinary Crawl. Passes will be valid for travel to Carpinteria from one of these three Amtrak stations: Ventura, Santa Barbara, or Goleta (value $23).
New customers, loyal patrons, and playful tourists are encouraged to join us for our Third Annual Crawl. Tickets cost $60 and include a Chef’s Apron Tasty Tapas, Delicious Desserts, and Prosecco Toast.
