Special Grant Opportunity for Small Businesses Impacted by the Thomas Fire and Debris Flows
The Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a special opportunity for small and minority businesses that were adversely impacted by the Thomas Fire and Debris Flows that affected Ventura and Santa Barbara counties beginning on December 4, 2017. Thanks to the generous contribution of Wells Fargo, Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV) is pleased to offer business recovery grants of up to $10,000 to eligible businesses.
You may be eligible if your business suffered from:
Lost revenue due to closures and/or changed and disrupted customer patterns
Suspension of operations
Plant, property, and equipment damages
Other direct/indirect costs relating to the disasters
Diverse small businesses (e.g. women, minority, veterans, LGBTQ,-owned) are particularly encouraged to apply. WEV will be offering the following free information sessions to learn more about this opportunity:

Orientation sessions will review the application process, timeline and grant agreement. Information will also be available online at www.wevonline.org. Recordings of the info sessions will be posted on WEV’s website the week of October 15th.
