The Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a guided tour of Scenic Switzerland from April 28 – May 6, 2020. Chamber and community members are invited on this unique travel opportunity, designed to give travelers the flavor, history and beauty of Switzerland.
This extremely popular Chamber Fundraiser was sold out in April 2019 with 43 travelers exploring the Treasures of Ireland. The goal of the Chamber Travel Program is to expose business leaders and community members to new and different cultures at reasonable group rates.
Scenic Switzerland features 4 nights in the resort town of Yverdon-Les-Bairns and 3 nights in Lucerne geographical heart of Switzerland. Enjoy a Geneva City Tour where we continue to the resort town of
Yverdon-Les Barins, known for Lura Mountains a natural setting and thermal springs. Our visit includes Chateau de Chillon, a fascinating Castle famous for Bryon’s epic poem, Zermatt situated at the foot of majestic Matterhorn and board the Golden Pass train, one of Switzerland’s most scenic rail excursion.
Take in the capital city of Bern, one of Europe’s most picturesque cities & registered as a UNESCO historic site. Continue to Lucerne the geographical heart of Switzerland and described as “a pearl in the world’s most beautiful oyster”.
